 Eastern Vic holiday hotspots

there are so many options to fish in eastern Victoria at the moment it is hard to list them all but we will try to highlight a few that are fishing well at the moment

Corner inlet From Port Albert Welshpool and Yanakie is fishing well for large flathead quality whiting the odd gummy and some very good snapper in the deeper reaches salmon and the odd mako are also a very good option offshore. Places to fish would be the Doughboy toora Franklin and middle channel or if land based from Manns beach and the town jetties at port Albert

Shallow inlet is similar and ther are some very nice salmon being caught on the ocean beaches from walkerville to Venus bay

Lakes entrance and the Tambo Mitchell and nicholson rivers have all recently had a good flush which should really fire up the bream luderick tailor and salmon

The offshore temp is around 17.2 degrees so some excellent fishing shouldnt be far away with makos and (if its anything like last year) the odd striped tuna even being cought

Farther East Mallacoota and the bemm rivers have also recieved good rains so the Falthead and bream should be on the chew shortly
