Mornington Peir has once again produced the odd snapper as well as gars and squid although things have been a tad slow

Flinders peir is still producing good calamari and fishing from the rocks around Phillip island has produced leatherjackets parrot fish ans salmon

Venus Bay land based has produced whiting salmon and trevally

The various beaches regularly fished in both eastern and western vic have produced Salmon and mullet and now the water is warmiong the odd good flathead have been taken too

peirs beaches and the rocks all starting to produce

snapper have been taken off the lee brakwall and the odd fish have come from Mornington and pt lonsdale jetties

gars and squid have been good from Frankston mornington Blairgowrie and Portsea piers

squide are still being caught from flinders along with salmon and the odd grass whiting

The punchbowl has produced salmon couta and flathead

The Hotties has fished well over the last month with Tailor Bream salmon and Mullet all being Caught in good Numbers . The surf beaches are also producing salmon

Something different with som quality flounder being taken at Rye and seaford wading at night with a light spear and dipnet

Just because the boat is packed away and its a little cool outside doesnt mean quality table fair isnt available

this time of year is when our piers and brakwalls come into their own

calamari garfish salmon and flatties are all a frequesnt catch

at time of writing Portsea and flinders pier have excellent calamari to 3kgs

frankston and seaford pier are producing garfish and Mornington pier has all species

The surf beaches both east and west of Melbourne are producing Salmon and mullet as well as flatties and the odd gummy at night
